Thank you so much for your willingness to pray for YFC & our students! Below you will find three new prayer requests along with a few updates. Bless you for coming along side us in this crucial way.
This month please join us in praying for....
1) Small Groups. This month we are launching small groups for both high schoolers & middle schoolers. Small groups are a key component in our relational ministry strategy as they provide a way for us to share Christ at a deeper level. Our middle schoolers will be participating in a small group centering on why & how to pray. Our high schoolers will be participating in a small group called Alpha Youth. This series creates a space for students to explore life, faith and purpose. Please be praying that God would draw students to these groups and that they would grow in their relationships with Jesus through them.
2) Mercy & Restoration. We learned this past month that one of our Hibiscus Campus Life students was fatally stabbed after leaving the homeless center and being placed in a foster care. Please pray for our Hibiscus Campus Life team as they navigate this tragedy. Pray for the students and families affected by this loss. And pray that God would bring peace, healing and restoration in ways only He can.
3) See The Story. This month our leadership team is partnering with Genesis Church to host an event called "See The Story." This one-hour event is designed to heighten our organization's awareness as well as rally support from community members who are not currently connected with us. Please pray it will be a fruitful time of connection with fellow believers and would result in a wider circle of support.
